EATING OUT FOR LUNCH

This afternoon, Benjie and Jenila invited all of us to their house for lunch. Benjie is Josh's language teacher and friend. He is also a trained Bible teacher. Jenila is Benjie's wife and, along with Marita, helped with housework yesterday while Belinda and I painted the bathroom.

Benjie and Jenila and their two daughters, the five Moffits, Hannah and myself pretty much filled up their house. And they pretty much filled up our stomachs with an incredibly delicious meal.

The front door of Benjie and Jenila's house.

Inside their house as seen from the front door.

With the tablecloth and food neatly laid out on the floor, Benjie and his daughters wait to eat.

Belinda also waits to eat.

Delicious or, as Neo would say, "Yum yum!"

Eleven full stomachs.

With lunch completed, it's time to return home to the Moffit's place. Benjie, Josh and Neo leave Benjie and Jenila's house, shown in the background.

Wow! how incredibly humbling it is to see how people can be so happy to be eating on the floor. Makes me realize how blessed I really am.
