LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW

The forecast was for snow on the valley floor today. The forecast was correct! It just started a few minutes ago, about the time we started putting lights on the Christmas tree. We weren’t really dreaming of a white Christmas, but we may be getting one anyway.

Final view from the same door, facing through the stair railing toward the blue spruces

View from a bedroom window facing the front yard

View from across the street using a flash. The bright spots on the photo are reflections of the flash off the snowflakes, which is why you should never drive in snow or fog with your high beams on. The bedroom window without the white blinds drawn is the window from which the previous photo was taken.

Ah, you guys are just snow babies. We, on the other hand, are snow teenagers with about 2 inches in our yard. We'll be heading out to play in it soon! :)

I've never really seen snow before. Only when I was about one or two, because it doesn't snow here in the Philippines. It looks cool seeing little white dots falling down from the sky in your pictures.

Bruce, your picture narratives are simply inspiring. Yet somehow familiar. Wordy and redundant at the same time. Hmmm... where did you learn this style?

I caught up on your blog today, and loved it all! You're doing a great job.

P.S. Will all of us fit in your studio?

Your older, but favorite, sister
