SATURDAY IN THE PARK

Debra and I spent about four hours today at Tou Velle Park with friends from church. The weather was sunny and warm, without being hot.

The drive from our house to Tou Velle park takes only about 15 minutes. Just before arriving at the park we saw Lower Table Rock, shown here in the background. In the foreground is the Rogue Disposal and Recycle Center (aka The Dump).

Straight ahead is Upper Table Rock.

And then the park entrance.

While I was competitively tossing horseshoes, Debra was competitively tossing a couple of golf balls joined together with a short rope.

After lunch, we passed this monument while walking to the bank of the Rogue River.

Behind us is the Rogue River.

Table Rock Road crosses the Rogue River at this bridge.

Debra in front, Upper Table Rock in back.

Hey that's the same game Josh wants to make, with the golf balls. Did you make it, or did someone else bring it?
