CRAIGSLIST OR THE DUMP

Since we made the decision to replace some of our carpet with laminate flooring, we have pondered what to do with the existing carpet. Pulling it up and hauling it to the dump is a big job. And expensive.

But what about giving it away on Craigslist for free to whoever is willing to help pull it up and load it up and haul it away?

Last night I posted this ad on Craiglist and in a short time had eight responders who want the carpet and who are willing to do the work. The carpet should be gone this weekend.
