We had excellent seats in the third-row balcony, giving us a perfect view of the entire stage. By the time intermission came, my hands hurt from clapping.
With the theater behind us and with "The Golden Dragon Acrobats" lighting up their sign, Debra and I get ready to enter the building for some outstanding entertainment.
Before entering the building, however, we noticed a lonely chess player on the theater plaza who looked like he needed an opponent.
After entering the theater, we approached the will-call counter, told them our names, and received our tickets. The guy who gave us the tickets noticed that they were purchased by a Bethany Weathersby. As he handed us the tickets, he said "She must be a very nice person to get these for you".
Every act was great. Toward the end of the show, one of the acrobats balanced on a stack of chairs (bottom photo), which he built and climbed one chair at a time. By the time he positioned the last chair, the stack was visibly wobbly and he was at an altitude higher than our balcony seat. It was scary to watch.
