BALLET PERFORMANCE

Earlier this afternoon, Debra, Ashley and I joined Tom, Ruth, Skeeter, Becky, Gordon, Josie and Rylie at the Crater Performing Arts Center, located at Crater High School, to watch Baylee perform on stage. The show was sponsored by Studio Roxander Academy of Movement Arts, where Baylee has recently been taking ballet lessons. The two-hour event was performed to a sold-out crowd.

I had heard that one of the rules for attending the show was "No picture taking allowed".

But I don't believe everything I hear.

Debra, Ashley and I get dressed and ready to go to the show. I don't like being the shortest person in the family.

The capacity crowd faces an empty stage in eager anticipation.

Rylie, Ashley and Josie are among the nine of us who filled up an entire row.

The tenth among us, Gordon, sadly sits solo in the row in front of us as he properly positions his neck in order to talk with Josie who sits directly behind him.
