Summer weather has been slow coming this season, with rain, clouds and thunderstorms occupying the first half of the month. After getting home from work today, the weather was a comfortably warm 88 degrees and the water was a refreshingly warm 80 degrees. So, I jumped in for the first time this year.
Wearing swim trunks, cool orange goggles, and abs of steel , I enter the 80-degree water.
Descending the watery staircase.
The first lap of the year begins.
And continues.
And continues.
And ends.
That was refreshing.
Can't wait to get refreshed in a month. :)
